The Great T5 Challenge!

Last Wednesday we(CSB Upper Intermediate class) had an event titled Stakeholders and PEST-The Great T5 Challenge for the April intake students. It's some sort of presentation competition that requires groups to present on companies from different industries. We had one 2 weeks earlier for the July intake students. Since both classes were taught by David, he let us run the show. A total of 10 groups took part in the presentation. You can see the crowd in the photo above. Evon and Jamie were the emcee's for the day. The 3 judges for the event were Ms Lucy, Mr David and Ms Tang(pic below).
The group presenting on Air Asia(pic below) got things rolling at 9am. Since time is limited because we must finish at noon, we limit each group's presenting time at 15 minutes. Ee Meng was in charge of ringing the bell if any group take more than 15 minutes.

When a group is done with their presentation, the judges will give some comments before they make way for another group. Below are photos of the other groups:

(Find something odd about the group above? You're right, there're only 2 members in the group. What's worse, their leader abandoned them that day, leaving them to rot. I really feel sorry for them.)

When all the groups are done, our beloved CEO, Mr Joseph(pic below) was invited to give a few words. 'Honestly speaking......honestly speaking......ahem'-quote Mr Joseph.
After his speech, the moment that everyone was waiting for had finally arrived. It's time to announce the winners! Mr Joseph was invited to hand out the prizes. The 2nd runners-up was the group presenting on Parkson.(pic below)
Second place went to the group presenting on Toyota.(pic below)
And the winners are......the Air Asia group!(pic below)
The winners then took the opportunity to take a photo with Mr David.(pic below)
The END

Items for sale

Recently I've been a little tight on cash, so I decided to sell a few possessions of mine which I no longer need. The first two items on the list are the Sunway-TES course materials for CAT Paper 1: Recording Financial Transactions and Paper 2: Information for Management Control. Since I've already passed both of the papers, I no longer need the 2 books. I'm not sure what the market price of these books are, so I'm selling them for RM20 each. I believe it's a fair price, given the high prices of CAT reference books out there. I highly recommend them to non-Sunway students who have just started their CAT course.(Note: Sunway students will be given the books for free.)

The third item in the list is the Market Leader Practice File-Intermediate Business English. This book was given to me for my Communication Skills in Business class. There are no notes in this book, only questions. The answers are provided at the back. Only a few pages were used, and I've already erased what I wrote on them, so it's as good as new. I no longer need it because I'm now in the Upper Intermediate level. The market price of this book is RM15. I'm selling it for just RM10. It's fully imported from the UK. I recommend it to those who seek to improve their business English.
The last item is also the most expensive one. It's a Mynavi(Now known as Lokatoo) A800 GPS navigator. I won it from Proton's Drive for Cash contest(was cursing that I missed out on the RM5000 cash). Proton claims that it's worth RM1400, but I know it's worth a lot less than that. To make it a fair deal, my asking price will be RM700, just half of Proton's valuation.

Anyone interested in any of the above items can email me at chang_jq@live.com.my. Hopefully we can work out a deal. The price of the GPS navigator is negotiable.
